CURRICULUM VITAE: Professor Christine Brown Wilson PhD. RN. PFHEA
ORCID ID:0000-0002-7861-9538
As an Academic Leader, I inspire the next generation of health care professionals and researchers to make a difference in a global context when working with people living with dementia and those who support them. I lead and work within international interdisciplinary teams providing expertise in participatory research and systematic/ scoping reviews. I mentor/support early career researchers in education including academics from low/middle income countries. My programme of research includes improving public perception of dementia using co-produced ‘serious’ games and translating research into practice by co-producing digital games/resources to improve training and education for carers, staff in long term care and health professions students in higher education. This has led to the development of a culturally responsive model for the codesign of serious games. |
