1st Szeged International Health Sciences Conference
Organized by the Faculty of Health Sciences and Social Studies at the University of Szeged, the International Health Sciences Conference will be held for the first time from May 29-31, 2025. This scientific forum, organized with the intention of establishing a tradition, focuses on presenting medical and health sciences research and developments. The international meeting provides an excellent platform for improving and advancing health sciences education, as well as fostering collaboration and joint thinking between different scientific disciplines and research areas.
One of the primary goals of the event is to encourage the exchange of experiences that promote innovation in health sciences and to provide an overview of important and developing areas in everyday patient care. The conference also offers a platform for alumni students to present their professional careers and share their experiences in effective and modern patient care. Another important objective of the conference is to invite prominent figures in international research infrastructure, including our existing EUGLOH partners, thereby facilitating opportunities for scientific and educational cooperation.
The event offers a rich, high-quality, and diverse program for professionals and students interested in the latest achievements in healthcare and medical science. To this end, we have invited distinguished national and international experts in medical and health sciences to deliver scientific lectures and symposia. In addition to the planned four plenary lectures, we anticipate 25-30 presentations, organized into thematic blocks with sessions in both English and Hungarian. Within the conference, the poster session holds a prominent place, providing an excellent opportunity for young researchers and doctoral students, both domestic and international, to present their work and integrate into the scientific community.
The conference will focus on reviewing areas that are important and have undergone significant development from the perspective of everyday patient care, the challenges of practical application, the etiology, diagnosis, and treatment of diseases, public health, medical ethics, as well as sports medicine and rehabilitation research. One of the highlights of our Scientific Congress will be the public lectures, aimed at giving the general public insight into the latest scientific and technological developments and their practical applications in health sciences. From cells to the bedside: basic research, the role and significance of translational medicine, artificial intelligence in applied health sciences, healing, and health issues related to space activities will be discussed, providing insights into the latest developments in the HUNOR Hungarian space research program. The planned public lecture series will introduce the latest research results and innovations, expected to attract significant public interest in Hungarian society.
We warmly welcome our interested Colleagues and Students to the sunny city of Szeged in May 2025 for the 1st International Health Sciences Conference.
